As DreamPeace gains funding, we will extend its reach beyond north central Alabama to serve veterans throughout the State; Alabama Regulars, the Alabama Guard, and Reservists—all services—who have/are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Many soldiers are serving on their third or fourth tour and are being exposed to severe emotional distress as a result of service-related trauma. Whether staying in service to our Country or transitioning to life in Alabama, the wars are taking an emotional toll on their lives and lives of their families.

The majority (80-85%) of donations and grant funding will go directly to treatment. The balance will be allocated to streamlined administrative support (up to 15%). The remaining (up to 5%) will be set aside for strategic planning throughout Alabama and the Southeast. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are fully tax deductible!!!
